Crime Stoppers of Oregon wishes to inform our valued tipsters and law enforcement partners that our program will be concluding September 30, 2026. Crime Stoppers of Oregon began in 1983 and since then has sought to serve the great state of Oregon by being a bridge between anonymous tip reporting and law enforcement investigators. Over the past 43 years we have received tens of thousands of tips resulting in the apprehension of fleeing felons, locating missing persons, and resolving countless crimes. To all the tipsters who decided to come forward and provide information, thank you.

If you have information that needs to be reported, please do so prior to September 30, 2026, after which submissions will not be accepted. After September 30, 2026 please report directly to the respective law enforcement agency.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon wishes to thank all the partners in law enforcement, media, and business that have contributed to the program over the last four decades. Though Crime Stoppers of Oregon is coming to an end, the impact of the information provided by our tipsters and the work of the law enforcement professionals who acted upon it will remain a lasting part of Oregon’s history.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon is aware of a data breach involving the P3 platform used for anonymous tip submissions.

As a precaution while this is being reviewed, we encourage community members to temporarily refrain from submitting tips to Crime Stoppers of Oregon through P3. Individuals wishing to provide non-anonymous information should do so directly to the respective law enforcement agency.

We’re working closely with our partners to address this as quickly as possible and will keep you updated here. Your safety and trust are very important to us.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon offers cash rewards of up to $2,500 cash for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in any unsolved felony crime and tipsters can remain anonymous.

There is no such thing as a perfect crime. However, there are two main reasons why people with information are reluctant to get involved: fear or retaliation and apathy. Crime Stoppers of Oregon addresses both issues.

By contacting Crime Stoppers of Oregon, a person can remain totally anonymous because the person is given a code number and never asked for their name.

Tips submitted to Crime Stoppers of Oregon are secure and untraceable.

Since 1983, Crime Stoppers of Oregon has been working in cooperation with law enforcement and media to solve crimes.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon is a local nonprofit community organization funded entirely by tax deductible donations.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon is managed by an all-volunteer, non-paid Board of Directors, which is responsible for raising funds and issuing cash rewards. Crime Stoppers of Oregon is not a government program and receives no government funding.
