Bicycle Hit and Run
The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in solving a hit and run to a bicyclist in North Portland.
On Saturday June 15, 2013, at approximately 11:30 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to North Interstate Avenue, just North of Greeley Avenue, on the report of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle that fled the scene.
Officers arrived and determined that the pedestrian was actually a bicyclist, later identified as 59-year-old Mike Jan Cooley of North Portland. Medical personnel treating Cooley transported him to a Portland hospital with injuries initially believed to be non-life-threatening.
A witness described to police seeing a white Ford pick-up driving erratically before the crash, which occurred in the northbound lanes of Interstate Avenue.
Investigators believe that the suspect vehicle is a white 1993-1997 Ford F350 Crewcab pickup. The truck is believed to have two chrome step-up bars, at least on the driver’s side, and damage to the right front headlight area.
Pictures of a similar model truck have been released to assist the public in identifying the vehicle.
Cooley remains in critical condition at a Portland hospital.

The Vancouver (WA) Police Department, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in determining who damaged a beloved Vancouver statue.
On May 13, 2013, officers from the Vancouver Police Department were contacted regarding damaged to a statue along the Columbia River.
Officers discovered that someone cut the red glass head off of the body of the aluminum statue of “Wendy the Welder” from World War II. The statue stands 10 feet tall.
Officers determined that the damage and theft occurred sometime between May 7 and May 11, 2013.

Portland Police Bureau Case #13-25527
The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects using stolen credit cards taken in a burglary.
On March 31, 2013, homeowners called the Portland Police Bureau to report a burglary of their residence in the 8900 block of Southeast Cora Street. The burglary occurred sometime between March 29 at 10:00 a.m. and March 31 at 5:30 p.m. When the homeowners returned to the house, they found their bedroom ransacked and discovered that a credit card and debit card were stolen.
The victims contacted their bank and discovered that their credit card had been used multiple times on March 30, 2013, at several Southeast Portland locations, including the Walmart store at Southeast 82nd Avenue and Holgate Boulevard.
Officers retrieved surveillance video of two subjects using the victims’ credit card.
One suspect is described as a white male with tattoos on both arms, wearing a red t-shirt with an “A” on the front, a navy blue baseball cap. This same suspect appears to return at a later time wearing a green flannel shirt over the red t-shirt.
The second suspect is described as a white male, shorter and thinner than the first suspect, wearing black Converse shoes, blue jeans, a red jacket, and a black baseball cap.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in identifying a thief stealing from Portland hospitals
On May 14, 2013, at approximately 12:00 p.m., a man walked into the volunteer break room at the Portland Shriners Hospital and stole a woman’s purse. The purse contained an undisclosed amount of cash, ID, credit cards, and an Apple iPad.
When the victim realized her purse was missing, she alerted hospital security staff who located the suspect on surveillance video.
Shriners Hospital security learned from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) public safety that a similar incident occurred in the afternoon of May 14, where the suspect stole a backpack from an OHSU employee’s office.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 50s with tan or olive-colored skin, shaved or bald head, 5’8” tall, 190 pounds, wearing a dark-colored t-shirt and jeans.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in solving a robbery in Northeast Portland.
On May 1, 2013, at approximately 1:30 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to Maddys, located at 11252 Northeast Sandy Boulevard, on the report of a strong-arm robbery.
Officers spoke with the victim who told police that he was playing video poker and had won a sum of money that he placed inside his wallet.
The suspect approached the victim from behind, reached over him and grabbed the wallet out of the victim’s hand. The two struggled over the wallet but the suspect was able to force the wallet out of the victim’s grip and run out the door.
The suspect was last seen running southbound on 112th Avenue from Sandy Boulevard.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, 5’10” tall, 275 pounds, brown hair, blue eyes, wearing a black hoodie and dark-colored jeans.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in solving a burglary in Northeast Portland.
On March 19, 2013, Portland Police officers began investigating the report of a residential burglary at home in the 3900 block of Northeast 149th Avenue. One of the items taken in the burglary was the victim’s purse containing miscellaneous ID and credit cards.
On March 24, 2013, officers learned that the victim’s credit card was used at the Target store, located at 9800 Southeast Washington Street.
Officers worked with Target Asset Protection to locate surveillance video of the person using the victim’s stolen credit card.
The suspect is described as a white female in her 20s to 30s, shoulder-length dark hair, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with “Oregon” written on the front.
A male with the female is described as a white male in his 20s to 30s, short sandy blonde hair, wearing a dark zip-up “American Eagle” sweatshirt and blue jeans.
An associated vehicle to the suspects is described as a newer silver pick-up with a bed cover.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who stole a woman’s credit cards in Southeast Portland.
On Saturday March 30, 2013, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Portland Police officers from East Precinct contacted a woman who told police that her credit cards had been stolen.
The victim told police that earlier in the day, at approximately 4:00 p.m., she had been at the restaurant Casa Del Matador, located at 2424 East Burnside Street, when she realized that her credit cards were missing. The victim told police that only her credit cards were missing and that she did not know for sure how someone could have stolen them.
The victim told police that two women in the restaurant were acting obnoxious and moving from booth to booth, eventually sitting in a booth near the victim and her daughter.
Officers contacted the Casa Del Matador about the incident and asked that management review surveillance video from inside the restaurant to see if cameras caught someone stealing the victim’s credit cards.
Several hours later the manager of Casa Del Matador called police and advised that the theft was caught on camera. The suspect used a walking cane to pick up the victim’s purse and slide it over to where the suspect was seated. The suspect then stole items from the victim’s purse then returned it using the cane.
The suspect is described as an African American woman, 5’7” tall and 350 pounds.
The suspect is associated with a white female, 5’3” tall, 100 pounds, with a bun in her hair.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who assaulted a woman in North Portland’s Eliot neighborhood.
On Tuesday March 26, 2013 at approximately 12:10 a.m., the victim, a 52-year-old woman, was walking on the North sidewalk of North Larabee Street approaching North Interstate Avenue, when the suspect approached her and asked for money and food. The suspect pushed the woman down, threatened to sexually assault her, and punched her in the face. According to the victim, the suspect acted as if he had gun in his pocket.
The woman defended herself and the man ran away in an unknown direction. The victim was treated and released at a Portland hospital.

The suspect is described as a male, Hispanic or Pacific Islander, in this 30s, about 5'5" tall and approximately 170-180 pounds. The suspect had short brown hair and brown eyes and was wearing a white sweatshirt and black pants. The suspect is balding or has a shaved head in the back with a unique quarter inch strap of hair behind his ears pulled into a 4" to 5" braid with curled hair on the bottom.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in solving a 2011 homicide in Southeast Portland.
On Wednesday July 20, 2011, at 10:20 p.m., Portland Police officers from East Precinct responded to the report of shots fired in the area of the Southeast 135th Avenue and Sherman Street. Officers arrived in the area and found 18-year-old Larry Ma suffering from a gunshot wound. Medical personnel responded and transported Mr. Ma to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Officers searched the neighborhood for possible suspects but did not locate anyone. Homicide Detectives and Criminalists from the Forensic Evidence Division responded and began an investigation into the shooting.
Detectives have learned that Mr. Ma was shot while seated in his car somewhere North of where officers found him on 135th Avenue. Detectives believe that Mr. Ma was shot, and then drove his car southbound for a few blocks before crashing into a yard at 2214 Southeast 135th Avenue.

The Hillsboro Police Department, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in solving a 2012 pedestrian robbery.
On December 24, 2012, at approximately 11:00 p.m., a man and woman were on a walk together in Dawson Creek Park off of Brookwood Parkway in Hillsboro when they were attacked by two Hispanic male adults. The male victim was knocked to the ground when he was struck in the head with a metal pipe-like object and kicked repeatedly when he was on the ground. He was then threatened with a knife and his wallet and cell phone were stolen. The female victim was knocked to the ground during the attack and had her purse stolen.
Both suspects are described as Hispanic males, 20 to 23 years old. One suspect, depicted in the attached drawing, is described as 5’06’ to 5’07” tall, shaved or very short hair, “husky” build, clean shaven with dark eyes. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt and bandana which fell off during the fight.

The Beaverton Police Department, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect that killed a pedestrian in January 2013.
On January 15, 2013 at approximately 7:57 p.m., officers from the Beaverton Police Department were dispatched to the area of Southwest Laurelwood Avenue and Southwest Homewood Street on a report of an adult male face down on the roadway.
When officers arrived on scene they determined that the subject down on the edge of the roadway was deceased. The victim was later identified as 18-year-old Harley Rocher of Aloha, Oregon.
From the evidence at the crash scene, it appears that this was a hit and run involving a motor vehicle. This incident is currently being investigated by Beaverton Police Officers and members of the Washington County Crash Analysis Reconstruction Team (CART).
The suspect vehicle is believed to be teal in color and should have damage to the passenger side and the windshield.
Investigators are still asking that anyone that might have witnessed this crash or has any information that would help in this investigation to please contact the Beaverton Police Department at (503) 629-0111.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in identifying a person that stole a cat in North Portland’s St. John’s Neighborhood.
On November 15, 2012, at approximately 8:00 a.m., Portland Police responded to a residence in the area of North Kellogg Street and North St. John’s Avenue on the report of cat theft by an unknown suspect.
The caller reported seeing a man pick up a friend’s cat by the tail and put the cat in his car and drive away. The caller had few details about the man, other than he was wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt and driving a white 4-door car.
On December 23, 2012, another resident of the neighborhood, not far from the first call, reported seeing a man on the street squatting down and appearing to be trying to lure cats. The caller did not see if the man actually grabbed a cat or not. This caller had a limited description of the man as wearing all dark clothes and a hat, driving a white 2000-2004 Cadillac Deville, 4-door, with tinted windows and possibly a headlight out.
The district officer in the neighborhood has been told of other cats missing, but to date there are only these two reports linking a person to cat theft.
Theft of an animal is a felony in Oregon under Oregon Revised Statue 164.055(e) (Theft in the First Degree).

Portland Fire & Rescue, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in determining the cause of a suspicious fire that destroyed a Hayden Island hotel
On September 2, 2012, Portland Fire & Rescue responded to the report of a large fire at the vacant Thunderbird Hotel, located at 1401 North Hayden Island Drive.
There were no injuries or deaths as a result of the fire.
The estimated loss is approximately $17 million dollars and the hotel is a total loss.
At this point, investigators consider the fire suspicious and cannot rule out the possibility of arson.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who has been stealing computers from Portland area schools.
Over the last month, a man has gone into schools in the Portland Metro area and has posed as a parent or prospective parent. He enters classrooms and steals laptops, tablets and other electronic devices.
Investigators suspect that the man has stolen from Winterhaven School, Llewellyn School, Sunnyside School, and St. John’s School in Milwaukie.
The suspect is a white male in his mid-20s to early 30s, approximately 5’ 10”, and 160 pounds.
Surveillance photos from St. Clare School, located at 1807 Southwest Freeman Street, are being released to the public to assist in identifying the suspect. St. Clare did not lose any computers to the suspect but did catch him on camera walking through the school.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in solving an armed robbery in Southeast Portland’s Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood.
On Thursday November 1, 2012, at 7:50 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct responded to the report of an armed robbery at Dotty's Deli, located at 11926 Southeast Division Street.
Officers arrived and contacted the victim who told police that two suspect entered the deli, both armed with handguns. One suspect pointed a handgun at the clerk and the other waved it around the deli and demanded people get on the ground.
After obtaining and undisclosed sum of money, both suspects fled the area on foot.
Officers, including a Police K-9 Unit, conducted an extensive neighborhood search for the suspects but did not locate anyone matching their description.
The suspects are described as two males, unknown race.
One is described as 6'3", medium build, wearing a navy blue-colored hoody, blue jeans, black shoes with white laces, black gloves, and wearing a maroon-colored bandana over his face.
The second is described as 5'9", thin build, wearing a gray hoody, dark-colored jeans, grey gloves, white tennis shoes with black soles, and wearing a white mask over his face.
Both suspects were armed with handguns.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in solving a sexual assault that occurred near Portland State University.
On Monday November 26, 2012, at 3:14 a.m., Portland Police responded to Southwest 10th Avenue and Market Street on the report of a sexual assault.
Officers arrived and contacted the 27-year-old female victim and learned that she was walking to her dorm at Portland State University from the area of Southwest 10th Avenue and Yamhill Street. She remembered a man following her and that she was hit over the head, then woke up in an alley behind her dorm at Southwest 10th and Market. The assault occurred sometime between 2:30 and 3:00 a.m.
Medical personnel responded and transported her to a Portland hospital, where she was treated and released. The victim is a student at Portland State University.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-30s, 6’0” tall, 180 pounds, shaggy light brown hair, pronounced cheekbones, an unshaven face, and rough hands. The victim remembers that the suspect smelled like sawdust and was very twitchy, as if he was under the influence of an intoxicant.
The victim did not know the suspect.
Multiple police officers, including a Police K-9 Unit, have searched the neighborhood but have not located the suspect.

CS #09-45 Nancy Bergeson Homicide >>
The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for your help in solving a 2009 homicide.
On Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at approximately 3:00 p.m., Portland Police uniform officers were called to the 4100 block of Southwest Hamilton. Upon arrival, the officers found Nancy Bergeson deceased in her home. The officers notified the Oregon State Medical Examiner and one of their representatives responded to the scene.
The medical examiner at the scene initially believed that Ms. Bergeson died as a result of natural causes. Ms. Bergeson was removed from her home and was transported to the Medical Examiner's Office. While performing the autopsy on Ms. Bergeson, the medical examiner determined that Ms. Bergeson actually died as a result of homicidal violence. Investigators were able to determine that there were signs that Ms. Bergeson fought back against her attacker.
The Portland Police Bureau Cold Case Homicide Unit is now helping with this investigation. The Cold Case Unit investigators and personnel represent additional resources to assist in following up on and developing investigative leads.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in identifying a hit and run suspect who killed a man in Southeast Portland’s South Tabor neighborhood.
On Wednesday October 31, 2012, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct responded to the report of a hit and run to a pedestrian at Southeast 71st Avenue and Powell Boulevard.
Officers arrived and located 60-year-old David Charles Eklund, who was suffering from life-threatening injuries. Mr. Eklund was been transported to a Portland hospital where he later died of his injuries.
Witnesses described the suspect vehicle is described as a smaller black SUV last seen westbound on Powell.
Witnesses described the driver as a white male in his 30s or 40s with short, black hair.

The Vancouver Police Department, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in arresting a car thief who has used the car to steal other cars and to commit dozens of car prowls.
On October 23, 2012, Vancouver Police East and West Neighborhood Response Teams (NRT) were conducting surveillance at a Vancouver apartment complex in at attempt to locate a white 2010 Ford Fusion four-door, Oregon plate WVN807 (plate stolen from a different vehicle). This stolen vehicle is suspected in numerous vehicle prowls including theft of a firearm, frauds that were committed from credit/debit card theft, hit and run, Assault in the First Degree, and fleeing from marked police vehicles on multiple occasions.
While conducting surveillance, two subjects approached the Fusion, entered both the driver and passenger doors and started the vehicle. Surveillance units in undercover cars drove into the lot and 'pinned' (made physical contact with the rear bumper of the suspect vehicle) the Fusion against a curb it was parked against.
Detectives wearing clothing clearly identifying them as “police”, and identifying themselves verbally to the suspects as “police” numerous times, ordered the occupants of the vehicle to comply. Instead, the driver of the Fusion punched the gas, went over the curbing and up onto a grass embankment and against a utility box. The driver then put the Fusion in reverse, accelerated at a very high rate and slammed backward into the undercover car hitting it hard enough to move it approximately 10 feet backwards and spin it 90 degrees.
As this occurred, one Sergeant jumped away from the Fusion and undercover car to avoid being struck. The suspect driver then accelerated at a high rate forward directly toward a second undercover vehicle and another Detective who jumped out of the way as the Fusion accelerated past and fled the parking lot.
The Fusion fled north from the area running stop signs at a high rate of speed.
Vancouver Police units in the area observed the Fusion eastbound on Southeast 29th Street at SE 164th Avenue but lost it at that location. This vehicle was located abandoned in Camas, Washington on October 28, 2012.
Surveillance photos of the suspect and the recovered vehicle have been released to assist the public with identification.

On Friday October 19, 2012, at 12:17 a.m., Portland Police officers responded to the report of an armed robbery at the Plaid Pantry located at 1715 Northeast 16th Avenue.
Officers arrived in the area and spoke with the victim who told police that the suspect entered the store and displayed a handgun as he demanded money. The victim gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect fled the store and into the neighborhood on foot.
Officers, including a Police K-9 Unit, conducted a neighborhood search but did not locate anyone matching the suspect's description.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, 5'11" tall, 175 pounds, shoulder-length stringy brown hair, dark stocking cap, sunglasses, a multi-colored sweater, and black pants with the word “SEASIDE” written down the side of the left leg.

On Tuesday October 2, 2012, at 5:59 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct responded to North Jessup Street, between Kerby and Commercial Avenues, on the report of a large group of people fighting and one person stabbed.
Officers arrived in the area and located a group of people but did not see anyone fighting. Officers located an adult male suffering from a stab wound to an arm. The victim was initially uncooperative with police and medical personnel transported him to an area hospital for treatment to a non-life-threatening injury.
Investigators from the Gang Enforcement Team are conducting the investigation as the stabbing may be gang-related.
The suspect is described as an African American male, mid-20s, 6’00” tall, thin build, wearing all dark clothing.
Police are releasing a sketch of the suspect to assist the public in identifying the person.

On Monday October 15, 2012, at 7:52 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct responded to the report of a shooting at Northeast 92nd Place and Glisan Street.
Officers arrived and located 42-year-old Durell Gee Davis deceased on 92nd Place, just south of Glisan Street. The Oregon State Medical Examiner performed an autopsy and determined that Davis died of a gunshot wound.
Homicide detectives would like to hear from anyone who has information about this shooting.

The Dalles City Police Department is still actively investigating the death of Scott Erlenbush. This incident occurred on August 24, 2012, at approximately 9:46 pm in the 100 block of W 2nd Street in The Dalles. Scott was seen in a gold car, similar to a Mercury Sable or Ford Taurus, approximately 15 minutes before his death.
A sketch was made of a currently unknown person of interest that was operating this vehicle.

On Saturday August 25, 2012, at 12:41 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct responded to the report of a robbery at Dotty’s Deli, located at 10090 Southeast Washington Street.
Officers arrived in the area and spoke to the victim who told police that the suspect entered the business and demanded money as he implied that he had a gun. No gun was actually seen by the victim.
The suspect is described as a white male, 40-50 years old, 5’7”, 180 to 200 pounds, wearing a blue t-shirt, blue baseball hat with a yellow logo, black sunglasses, and a gray wig.
A surveillance photo has been released to assist the public in identifying the suspect.

On Wednesday September 5, 2012, at 5:27 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct responded to the report of an armed robbery at All That Glitters, located at 2932 North Lombard Street.
Officers arrived in the area and learned that the suspect, armed with a handgun, entered the business and demanded money. The suspect left the business and was last seen running southbound on North Villard Avenue into the neighborhood.
Police officers, including a police K-9 unit, searched the neighborhood but did not locate anyone matching the suspect's description.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, 6'1" tall, 180 pounds, black hoodie, blue jeans, black sunglasses, some kind of black covering over his face, gray and white athletic shoes, armed with a handgun.

On Sunday August 19, 2012, at 1:22 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to Central Precinct responded to the report of an armed robbery at the Old Market Pub, located at 6959 Southwest Garden Home Road.
As officers were enroute to the call they learned that the suspect also took an employee's car.
Officers contacted the one of the employees who told police that she closed the pub and was walking to her car with the other employee when the suspect came running out of the bushes pointing a gun at them. The suspect demanded both employees get in the victim's car with him and drive to the entrance to the pub, where he forced them inside to get money from the bar.
After obtaining an undisclosed sum of money, the suspect told the victims to lie on the ground and he took the victim's car and fled the area.
The suspect is described as an unknown age white male, 5'9" tall, 160 pounds, brown goatee, white mask, white shirt, blue jeans, black hat, and athletic shoes, armed with a handgun.
The victim's vehicle has been recovered and is no longer of interest.

On Tuesday July 31, 2012, at approximately 12:15 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct responded to the report of a robbery at the Plaid Pantry located at 6510 North Greeley Avenue.
Officers arrived in the area and spoke to the clerk who told police that the two men entered the store and were behind the counter while the clerk was working at the back of the store. The clerk told police that one of the suspects pointed a handgun at him, racked the slide, and ordered him onto the closet. The clerk told police that the suspects took items from behind the counter but did not get any money.
The suspect with the gun is described as an African American male in his late teens or early 20s, 5’8” tall, wearing tan shorts, a black hoody, blue gloves, white running shoes, and a tan bandana covering his face.
The second suspect is described as an African American male in his late teens or early 20s, 5’10” tall, wearing white sweatpants with a black stripe down the leg, white running shoes, blue gloves, a black hoodie, and a tan bandana covering his face.

On Tuesday July 10, 2012, at 12:20 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to Central Precinct responded to the report of an armed robbery at the 45th Street Pub & Grill, located at 4511 Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.
Officers arrived and spoke with witnesses who told police that the suspect entered the bar displaying a firearm and demanded money.
The suspect fled the bar on foot in an unknown direction.
Witnesses described the suspect as an unknown race male, 6' to 6'2" tall, approximately 220 pounds, wearing an olive green hooded coat, black pants, mask, sunglasses, and gloves.
A neighborhood search by officers and a Police K-9 Unit was done but the suspect was not located.

The Portland Police Bureau Gang Enforcement Team, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in solving a shooting that occurred in Northeast Portland.
On April 1, 2012, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Portland Police officers from North Precinct responded to the report of a shooting at a residence in the 1700 block of Northeast 84th Avenue.
Officers arrived and learned that there had been a large party at the residence attended by numerous gang members and associates.
22-year-old Jazman Namone Ellett of Northeast Portland was shot in the abdomen by an unknown assailant while Ellett was standing on the front porch. Ellett was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he remains as he continues to slowly recover.
No suspect information exists at this time.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in solving a robbery and shooting in Northeast Portland.
On Saturday May 5, 2012, at 5:14 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct responded to the report of a shooting at a residence in the 5800 block of Northeast Lombard Street. Officers and medical personnel arrived and found the victim, 63-year-old Shaun Lazenby, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Lazenby’s injuries were serious but not life-threatening.
Witnesses told police that two suspects entered the home and forced 34-year-old Tomeeka Rus onto the ground and tied her wrists and ankles. The suspects also forced Lazenby onto the ground as the suspects removed jewelry and property from the house.
One of the suspects shot Lazenby then both ran outside and disappeared into the neighborhood.
Suspect #1 is described as a white male in his mid-30s, 6’2” tall, medium build, light reddish-blonde hair, fair skin, wearing a yellow safety vest, orange hard hat and light-colored jeans.
Suspect #2 is described as a white male in his mid-30s, shorter than 6’2” tall, medium build, dark hair, and wearing a dark sweatshirt.

The Portland Police Bureau Gang Enforcement Team is asking for the public’s help in solving a shooting in Northeast Portland.
On Sunday May 6, 2012, at 2:17 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct responded to the report of a shooting at 715 Northeast Broadway outside the 715 Inn. Officers arrived and located one gunshot victim, 60-year-old Christine Anderson of Southwest Portland. Anderson was suffering from a single gunshot wound to her upper chest and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Officers interviewed several people inside the 715 Inn and learned that someone started shooting outside of the club and bullets hit a club window, a Jeep parked in front of the club and the victim. Witnesses described only hearing the shots, not seeing a suspect and it is not known if the suspect was on foot or in a vehicle.
Investigators do not believe that Anderson was the intended target and that the target may have been one of the gang associates inside the club.

Portland Police Sex Crimes Detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect in a sexual assault on Rocky Butte.
On Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct took a report of a sexual assault that occurred on Rocky Butte in Northeast Portland. The victim was sexually assaulted but was able to get away from her attacker and call 9-1-1.
Officers and a police K-9 unit searched the area but did not locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s, 5'10”, 250 pound, with muscular shoulders, a fat stomach, brown greasy-scraggly hair, a long brown beard, a bigger nose with a crooked tip, wearing an over sized gray tee-shirt and black sweatpants.
A forensic sketch of the suspect is being released to assist police in identifying the attacker.

On the evening of Wednesday May 9, 2012, 22-year-old Tatyana Tupikova was the victim of a fatal hit and run while she was walking on State Route 503, North of the Battle Ground Cinemas, in Battle Ground, Washington. Tatyana died as a result of her injuries.
It is believed that Tatyana was walking home from the Battle Ground Cinemas after watching the 6:30 p.m. showing of the movie, “The Avengers.”
The Battle Ground Police Department is asking for assistance from anyone who may have seen what happened to Tatyana or anyone who has information on any involved vehicles.

On Friday February 3, 2012, at approximately 11:32 p.m., 27-year-old Dominique Massey and his girlfriend, 22-year-old Natalie Espinoza, were driving westbound on Northeast Lombard Street near 27th Avenue. A car pulled up alongside the victims and someone in the car fired multiple shots into Massey’s car and hit him numerous times in the leg. Massey suffered serious but not-life-threatening injuries as a result of the shooting.
The suspects were described as two African American males in a 4-door sedan.
Detectives would like to hear from anyone with information about this shooting.

On Tuesday March 28, 2012, at 10:13 p.m., Portland Police officers responded to the report of a possible shooting victim in a car pulled over on I-205 southbound near the Southeast Market Street overpass. Officers arrived and located 29-year-old Brian Tierney suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Detectives learned that Brian left choir practice in Northeast Portland and was on his way home, driving his blue 2007 Chevy Cobalt. At approximately 10:05 p.m., Brian was travelling southbound on I-205 when he was shot numerous times by an unknown suspect.
Detectives have developed information that the suspect in this case was possibly driving a black Cadillac Escalade SUV with large chrome rims, low profile tires and tinted windows.
Detectives would like to hear from anyone who may have information about the shooting suspect or who may have seen a similarly described vehicle driving erratically on southbound I-205 on the night of March 28, 2012.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in solving a shooting in Southeast Portland.
On Wednesday February 22, 2012, at 5:12 a.m., Portland Police officers from Central Precinct responded to the report of a shooting in the 100 block of Southeast Belmont Street. Officers arrived and located two men who’d been shot by an unknown assailant. Both men had been sleeping when they were shot.
The victims, 57-year-old Carter “Joe” Hickman and 43-year-old Albert “Allen” Dean, were treated at a Portland hospital for their injuries but have since been released.
The suspect is described as a white male wearing dark clothing and was in a black or dark blue-colored newer style Volvo station wagon with a large dog in the rear cargo area of the vehicle.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in identifying a suspect from a Southeast Portland robbery.
On Thursday April 5, 2012, at 11:09 a.m., Portland Police officers responded to the report of a robbery at the Division Street Liquor Store, located at 16353 Southeast Division Street.
Officers arrived and learned that the suspect stole a bottle of vodka and left the store. An employee contacted the suspect outside the store about the theft and the suspect told the employee to back away or he would get stabbed. The suspect then reached into his pocket. No knife was seen.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid 40s, 6’2”, 200 pounds, with brown hair. The suspect was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt, black pants, and had hair parted down the middle.

The Beaverton Police Department, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in locating a suspect in an attempted murder and sexual assault.
On Monday April 2, 2012 at 8:35 a.m. officers with the Beaverton Police Department responded to a call of a sexual assault of a 30 year old female by a suspect known to her in the area of SW Menlo Road.
Upon arrival, it was determined that the male suspect had forced his way into the victim’s apartment. Once in the apartment the suspect strangled the victim until she was unconscious and then sexually assaulted her. After the attack, the victim was able to flee her apartment and notify the police department. When officers arrived, the suspect was no longer in the apartment and he was not located during a search of the area.
The suspect in the attempted murder and sexual assault is identified as Mauricio Beltran-Trejo. Beltran-Trejo is described as a Hispanic male, 35 years of age, black hair, brown eyes, 5’7” and approximately 190 pounds. Beltran-Trejo is known to frequent the Beaverton and Hillsboro areas. Beltran-Trejo has worked in the janitorial and nursery industries.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in solving the shooting death of a Portland man.
On March 22, 2012, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct responded to the report of multiple gunshots heard in the area of Southeast 72nd Avenue and Mitchell Court. Responding officers did not locate any victims but did find evidence of gun fire.
Approximately 20 minutes later, officers from North Precinct responded to the report of a car crash at Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and San Rafael Street. Officers arrived and found 31-year-old Ramon Devon Taylor dead of a gunshot wound to the head and 59-year-old Harold Clark suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The driver of the car was not injured in the shooting or crash.
Detectives learned that Taylor and Clark were shot at Southeast 72nd and Mitchell Court and Thompson was attempting to take them to the hospital when she crashed.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in solving a homicide in Southeast Portland.
On Sunday February 20, 2012, at 1:28 a.m., Portland Police officers responded to the report of a shooting outside the Grand Central Restaurant and Bowling Lounge, located in the 800 block of Southeast Morrison Street.
Officers arrived and located a shooting victim, 30-year-old Robert Greene. Medical personnel arrived and determined that Mr. Greene was deceased. An autopsy conducted later in the day determined that Mr. Greene died of single gunshot wound. Mr. Greene was working security at Grand Central.
The only suspect information at this point is a black male. Investigators know that there were several witnesses outside at the time of the shooting but have not provided information to detectives.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in identifying two armed robbery suspects.
On January 30, 2012, at approximately 5:30 a.m., two men were prowling a car parked in a parking garage at Southwest 3rd and Alder in Downtown Portland. The owner of the car, an employee of the parking garage, and another employee interrupted the car prowl.
One suspect approached the victims while displaying a handgun while the other struck both victims with a metal pipe, causing both to suffer injuries. The suspects then fled the parking garage on foot, one of them carrying the victim’s backpack stolen from the car. The backpack contained various personal property.
The suspects are described as:
A white male in his 20s, 5’08” tall, medium build, bald, wearing a black pullover hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, armed with a handgun.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, the Eugene Police Department, and Federal Bureau of Investigation, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in identifying a violent armed robbery suspect.
On December 15, 2011, a white male armed with a snub-nosed, blued revolver entered the Home Federal Credit Union, located at 25 Division Street in Eugene, Oregon. The suspect conducted a violent, takeover-style robbery of the bank and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
On January 26, 2012, the same suspect entered the Chase Bank branch located at 12400 Southeast Sunnyside Road in Clackamas, Oregon. During this robbery, the suspect was armed with two handguns: a snub-nosed, blued revolver and a large silver revolver. The suspect again conducted a violent, takeover-style robbery and fled the area with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5’08” – 6’’00” tall, with a medium to heavy build, wearing blue coverall type pants, a blue coat, black mask, and black gloves.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in locating the person or persons responsible for a series of car vandalisms in Southwest Portland.
On Friday February 3, 2012, officers from the Portland Police Bureau’s Central Precinct and the Telephone Report Unit took dozens of reports of vandalisms to vehicles in Southwest Portland.
Estimates are that sometime in the darkness between February 2nd and February 3rd, a person or persons used some sort of projectile to break windows on 30 to 50 cars in the neighborhood around the Southwest 6th and Terwilliger area and at least another 10 cars in the neighborhood around Southwest 45th and Vermont.
The Lake Oswego Police Department is also investigating similar crimes where nearly 50 cars had their windows broken overnight.

43-year-old Paul Evans Winklebleck is wanted on felony warrants for kidnapping, criminal impersonation, assault, attempted rape and robbery. He is also wanted for child sex abuse and failing to register as a child sex offender.
On Thursday, March 4, 2010, at approximately 11:45 p.m., two women left the Roseland Theatre in Downtown Portland when they were approached by Winklebleck who fabricated a story informing the them that he was working for the Portland Police Bureau as a spotter and was willing to assist them in getting home because they might be intoxicated.
Believing his story, the two women agreed to let Winklebleck drive them home in their car because he said he worked for the police and it was his job to get them home. Once in their car Winklebleck displayed a knife, drove south on I-5 and took the Detroit Lake exit, stopping on a gravel road off the freeway. Once stopped the women were able to escape Winklebleck and run to a near by home where a resident called 9-1-1. Winklebleck fled the area and remains at large.
Winklebleck is a white male, approximately 5'11" tall, and has a stocky build. He has reddish brown hair that is short and thick and also a thick goatee and mustache. He was last seen wearing a camouflage or hunting type of shirt or jacket and a matching hat. He also has a tattoo on his upper back “Combative for God.”

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is seeking the assistance of the public to solve a home invasion robbery.
On December 19, 2011, at 3:05 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct responded to the report of a disturbance with a gun at an apartment located in the 2200 block of Southeast 66th Avenue. As officers were still enroute, they received information that the suspects entered an apartment and stole the victim's property at gunpoint then fled the apartment on foot.
Officers arrived in the area and contacted the victims at their apartment. Officers learned that three suspects entered the apartment, one armed with a shotgun, and took several items of property. The three suspects, all described as black males with masks covering their faces, then fled the apartment on foot.
The victims' apartment is located on the Warner Pacific College campus and none of the 4 victims that were inside the apartment were injured.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, 5’10”, 170 pounds, brown hair, wearing a blue and white flannel shirt, blue jeans, a dark bandana over the lower half of his face, a dark bicycle or skateboard helmet, armed with a silver handgun.

On November 25, 2011, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office began a homicide investigation after someone discovered the body of 50-year-old Dana Michelle Crippen on the I-205 bike path at Southeast Johnson Creek Boulevard. Investigators were able to determine that Dana was killed sometime between November 24 and November 25.
The Oregon State Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy and determined that Dana died of homicidal violence.
Investigators are asking for information from anyone who knows the person or persons whom committed the murder or saw Dana in the hours before her death or who knows people that Dana was associating with at the time of her death.

On October 10, 2011, at approximately 9:20 p.m., 23-year-old Brandon Rogers was in the area of Northeast 102nd Avenue and Burnside Street when he and a friend got into an altercation with two men, both of whom were black males in their late teens to early 20s. One of the men pointed a handgun at Rogers and shot him one time in the stomach. The location of the shooting was on Northeast 102nd Avenue, just North of East Burnside Street, on the west sidewalk. The victim spent nearly a month in the hospital suffering from life-threatening injuries but has since recovered.
The suspect in the shooting is described as a black male in his late teens or early 20s, having shoulder length tight braids.

On Monday October 24, 2011, at 1:26 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct responded to the report of an armed robbery at Jasmine’s Deli, located at 9320 North Whitaker Road. Arriving officers discovered that the deli clerk had been stabbed in the leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers learned that a white male entered the deli, looked around then walked back outside. As soon as the white male exited the deli, a male Hispanic dressed in dark clothes walked into the deli and demanded money from the clerk. The Hispanic suspect then stabbed the clerk in the leg and left the store. The stabbing suspect got into a gold Toyota Corolla, driven by the white male suspect, and both fled the area. The suspect vehicle has been recovered by police.

On August 14, 2011, at 6:10 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct responded to the report of a robbery at Southeast 51st and Foster Boulevard.
Officers arrived in the area and learned that the victim, 21-year-old Seonyung Noh of Southeast Portland, was riding a TriMet bus when a suspect grabbed onto her purse and pulled the victim and the purse out of the bus at Southeast 52nd and Foster Road.
Noh was seated on the bus near the back exit door when the suspect grabbed onto her purse, which was wrapped around her arm, and the suspect pulled her and the purse out the back exit door onto the street, dragging her on the ground for a few seconds. The suspect was then able to get the purse away from the victim. A witness then struggled with the suspect and the suspect threw the purse over a fence and ran away. The witness then retrieved the purse for the victim. The only thing missing was the victim’s ear phones.
The suspect is described as a white male, unknown age, 6’00” tall, 150 pounds, blonde hair, wearing a purple shirt and a “KBS” tattoo on his left hand. The suspect was accompanied by a white female, 5’00” tall, 100 pounds, with blond hair, wearing a purple shirt and sunglasses.

On Sunday June 26, 2011 at 12:37 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct responded to reports of a man shot at Northeast 82nd Avenue and Thompson Street. Officers arriving in the area located 34-year-old Leonard James "LJ" Irving deceased as a result of a gunshot wound. Officers located a second man, 21-year-old Lamar Lovette Hill, suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck.A third man, 21-year-old Jeray Lashawn Jessie, walked into an area hospital sometime later with a gunshot wound to the forearm.
Detectives determined that there was some sort of disturbance that resulted in gunfire.
An autopsy performed by the Oregon State Medical Examiner determined that Irving died of multiple gunshot wounds.

On Monday, September 5, 2011, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Clark County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the parking lot of Riverview Bank, located at 1220 Northeast 88th Street, for a death investigation. The deceased was identified as 61-year-old David Michael Gates of Vancouver, Washington. The cause of death has been determined to be a homicide.
There is little information known or available to the Sheriff's Office about Gates other than he is transient and that he frequents the Hazel Dell area of Clark County and regularly visits the local Hazel Dell businesses.
The Clark County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit is asking assistance from anyone having information as to Gates' whereabouts on Sunday September 4th and Monday September 5th as well as any assistance on Gates' associates.

On September 11, 2011, a Portland Police officer assigned to North Precinct responded to the report of a car prowl at 5115 North Greeley Avenue, in the Kaiser Permanente parking lot. The theft occurred sometime between 3:30 p.m. on the 10th and 3:30 a.m. on the 11th.
The victim reported that her vehicle had been broken into and a Phaff sewing machine, valued at more than $2,000, had been stolen. The suspect broke both passenger side windows and the rear window during the theft.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, 5’09”, 165 pounds, with a bald head, wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for the public’s help in solving two bank robberies in Southeast Portland committed by who the investigators are calling, “The Pug Bandit.”
On September 16, 2011, at 5:50 p.m., a man walked into the U.S. Bank branch, located at 636 Southeast Grand Avenue, and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the man left the bank and left behind an item that he’d claimed was a bomb. The Metro Explosives Disposal Unit responded and determined that the item was not an explosive device.
On September 22, 2011, at 11:35 a.m., investigators believe the same man walked into the West Coast Bank Branch, located at 1234 Southeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, and again demanded money using a note saying he had a bomb. No suspicious device was left at the bank after the suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5’08” tall, and 190 pounds.

On September 2, 2011, at approximately 12:07 a.m., 52-year-old Donald Ceglar parked his car near the intersection of Southeast 81st Avenue and Stark Street to go to a local tavern. While rummaging through his trunk, two young females walked by and one of them stabbed Mr. Ceglar in the back. Mr. Ceglar was transported to an area hospital where he underwent surgery for non-life-threatening injuries.
The two suspects are described as white or Hispanic females in their late teens to early twenties. Both are approximately 5’05 – 5’07” tall, medium builds, and long, darker hair worn in ponytails.
Both suspects were last seen running northbound on Northeast 81st Avenue.

On Sunday April 10, 2011, at approximately 1:11 a.m., Portland Police officers responded to the area of Northeast 86th and Sacramento on the report of shots fired from a vehicle. Numerous calls to 9-1-1 reported multiple gunshots and vehicles speeding out of the area.
Officers arrived and located a deceased 19-year-old male later identified as Mario Alexander Marin of Gresham. Several area houses also sustained damage from gunfire.
Detectives determined that just prior to the shooting, the victim and a friend were in the area of Seeznin’s Bar, located a few blocks away at Northeast 82nd and Tillamook Street, at about the time when a large group of males were denied entry to the bar.
At the scene where the victim was found, detectives found evidence of a “significant shootout” and believe that up to three vehicles, loaded with people, may have been in the area at the time of the shooting.
Detectives are interested in hearing from anyone with information about this shooting, including the names of people who may be witnesses to the shooting.

The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for the public’s help in solving a theft in Molalla, Oregon.
On August 6, 2011, between 11:30 p.m. and 4 a.m. the following morning, approximately $10,000 in wedding gifts were stolen from Hank and Annie Elliot’s wedding reception at the Coleman Ranch (15151 S Feyrer Park Road, south of Molalla, Oregon).
Guests had delivered wrapped wedding gifts and gift cards to the newlyweds. The gifts were displayed on a table in the reception area during the celebration. Mrs. Elliot reported she last saw the gifts in place at 11:30 p.m. that evening.
The couple camped at the location that night with friends and family. By 4 a.m., it was discovered that the gifts had vanished.
The gift cards were collected in a white birdcage that was about 2 feet tall and 1 foot in diameter. The cage had a round top and four short legs. The remaining gifts varied in size and gift-wrapping. The wedding party estimates there were at least 10 wrapped gifts.
The total value of lost gifts and property is estimated at $7,000 to $10,000.
Guests who gave gifts are urged to contact the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office with any serial numbers, gift card identification numbers, and gift descriptions they can provide to aid the investigation.

The suspect had his left hand behind his back as he made the demand for money, causing the employee to fear that the suspect was armed.
After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money the suspect fled on foot westbound out of the area. Police officers and a K-9 unit searched the neighborhood but did not locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, 5’07”, 150 pounds, blue eyes, unknown hair color, and wearing a light blue dirty hoody, a green knitted scarf, and oversize cargo shorts.

On Saturday July 30 at 8:25 a.m., Portland Police officers from East Precinct responded to the UC Market, located at 12540 Southeast Division Street, on the report of an armed robbery.
Officers spoke with the victim and learned that the suspect approached the employee at the counter and pulled out a large kitchen knife. The suspect lunged over the counter towards the victim then reached into the open cash register and removed an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the store on foot.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male, approximately 19 years old, 5’09”, medium build, wearing a red zip-up hoody, a white t-shirt, black/red/white plaid shorts, and black tennis shoes.

On Sunday August 15, 2010, at approximately 3:54 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct responded to the report of a man down on the sidewalk in the 5600 block of Southeast 84th Avenue. Officers arrived and found 39-year-old Jason Troy Doering suffering from an apparent head injury. Medical personnel transported him to an area hospital where he later died. An autopsy performed by the Oregon State Medical Examiner determined that Doering died of blunt force trauma to the head.
Portland Police Homicide Detectives are seeking any information about Doering’s activities in the area where he was found. Detectives would also like any information about any associates that may have been with him that night or possible witnesses in the area.

On September 8, 2009, at 4:02 p.m., Portland Police officers from North Precinct were dispatched to 6956 North Fessenden Street, Apartment #5, on a welfare check of 50-year-old Jeanine Michelle Toth. Jeanine was supposed to attend a Labor Day family barbecue but when she didn’t make it, her family and friends became concerned and called police.
Officers arrived at the apartment and found Jeanine’s body inside. Homicide detectives responded and immediately began an investigation into Jeanine’s death. The Oregon State Medical Examiner determined that Jeanine died of multiple stab wounds.
At this point in the investigation, Homicide detectives do not have any information on who may have been involved in Jeanine’s death but do not believe her death is related to any other cases.

On Sunday May 22, 2011 at approximately 8:30 p.m., 23-year-old Brad Forkner and 25-year-old Christopher Rosevear were attacked by several suspects as they walked from the Hawthorne Bridge on the trail to the Eastbank Esplanade.
Forkner and Rosevear were walking and holding hands in Waterfront Park. As they walked, they heard several men behind them talking, laughing and pointing but they were not sure it was directed at them.
The victims crossed the Hawthorne Bridge onto the trail toward the Eastbank Esplanade. As they walked onto the Esplanade, Brad Forkner was pushed and punched by several subjects. He was able to break away to call 9-1-1 as the suspects continued to assault Christopher Rosevear. The suspects were last seen running away southbound on the Eastbank Esplanade.
The suspects are described as male, white, in their 20s and all about 5'11" inches tall, with short, dark hair. One was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, another was wearing a white or cream hooded sweatshirt and a third was wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt. The victim believes that the suspects were speaking in an Eastern European language.

As officers were on their way to the call, they learned that the suspect fled the store and got into a silver 4-door, possible Ford Taurus. The suspect then drove away from the area. The suspect was armed with a knife as he demanded money from the clerk at Plaid Pantry. The clerk was not injured and the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 40s, 5’10”, 190 lbs., with gray hair, facial stubble, wearing a green vest over a black shirt and blue jeans.

On Tuesday May 10, 2011, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Portland Police officers from North Precinct responded to Cigarettes Plus, located at 2224 North Lombard Street, after reports that a woman had been shot.
Arriving officers found 43-year-old Debra Ross suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was taken to an area hospital where she underwent surgery for life-threatening injuries. Officers determined that the shooting suspect demanded money from the victim and that the shooter was accompanied by a second suspect.
Witnesses describe the shooter as a 19 to 21-year-old black male, 5'7” tall, weighing 180-200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket and a dark stocking cap.
Witnesses describe the second suspect as a 19 to 21-year-old black male, 5'11” tall, thin build, with a “baby face.”
Both suspects fled the location on foot and were believed to have fled the area in a newer, black, “sporty-type” sedan that appeared to be fairly well maintained.

The suspect entered the store and pulled a black handgun from the front of his waistband, pointed it at two employees and demanded money.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20s, 5’11”, 175 lbs., blond hair, blue eyes, wearing a black Carhartt-type jacket, blue sweatshirt, black shoes, and a white cloth over his face. The suspect also has tattoos of small crosses on his right hand.

On January 23, 2011, at approximately 9:30 p.m, the suspects robbed a patron at the Checkered Flag, located at 7483 Southeast 82nd Avenue.
On February 1, 2011, at approximately 7:17 p.m., the suspects robbed Rose City Tobacco and Pipes, located at 729 Southeast Morrison Street.
On February 2, 2011, at approximately 9:08 p.m., the suspects robbed Ed’s Deli, located at 3534 Southeast 52nd Avenue.
On February 6, 2011, at approximately 8:20 p.m., the suspects robbed Dominos Pizza, located at 453 Northeast 70th Avenue.
On March 2, 2011, at approximately 10:36 p.m., the suspects robbed Ed’s Deli a second time.
On March 28, 2011, at approximately 12:45 a.m., the suspects robbed the Shamrock Tavern, located at 4919 Southeast 82nd Avenue.
In many of the robberies, the suspects are armed with black handguns. The suspects are described as two black males: # 1 is approximately 5’8”, 170 lbs., and #2 is approximately 5’10”, 200 lbs.
Possible suspect vehicles include a late 1980s silver Toyota 4-door and/or a dark blue 1990s two door, possibly a Dodge Neon.

The Oregon State Police, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in identifying a suspect that drove off after hitting and killing a man riding his bike on Highway 211.
On March 22, 2011 at approximately 3:30 p.m., 67-year-old Thomas Christopher Mossman of Molalla, was critically injured when he was struck while riding his bicycle westbound along Highway 211 just west of South Palmer Road near milepost 10.
Mossman was transported by LifeFlight to Oregon Health Sciences University with critical injuries where he was being treated until he died March 31 at approximately 11:15 a.m.
Evidence at the scene indicates the vehicle is a silver-gray mid-90’s Dodge Caravan. The vehicle should have right front headlight damage, is missing the passenger side mirror, and may have missing right side door molding. After striking the bicycle rider, the vehicle reportedly continued driving westbound.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in identifying a suspect that drove off without paying for gas and injuring the gas station attendant.
On Tuesday March 22, 2011, at approximately 8:49 p.m., Portland Police officers responded to the area of Southeast 164th Avenue and Lafayette Street on the report of a person thrown from a vehicle. Officers arrived in the area and found 39-year-old Philem Botros of Southeast Portland down in the street suffering from serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives have learned that the victim was working at the Shell Gas Station, located at 16331 Southeast Powell Boulevard, attending to the suspect vehicle that was getting gas. The victim told the driver that he needed to go inside to pay for the gas but the driver started the car as the victim was holding onto the driver’s door, and the suspect vehicle began moving at a high rate of speed with the victim holding on to the door. The vehicle was last seen travelling northbound on Southeast 164th Avenue from Lafayette Street.
The suspect vehicle is described as a silver or gray newer body style SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer or Expedition.
The driver is described as a white male in his 30s. A white female was in the front passenger seat.

On January 21, 2011, at approximately 12:40 p.m., a high school age female was sexually assaulted in the 1000 block of Southeast 135th Avenue, near David Douglas High School. The victim was forced into a vehicle by an unknown male suspect who then sexually assaulted her.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 19-21 years old, with a thin muscular build, and short dark hair.
The suspect vehicle is a newer black 4-door car with tinted windows.
At this point, detectives do not have any additional cases or victims.

On Sunday December 12, 2010, at approximatley 8:21 p.m., Portland Police officers responded to the Dutch Brothers Coffee, located at 13640 Southeast Division Street, on the report of an armed robbery.
Officers learned that the suspect walked up and knocked on the window and as the clerk opened the window, the suspect pulled on a ski mask, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money. The clerk gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect then fled the area on foot.
Officers and a K-9 unit searched the area but did not locate the armed suspect.
The suspect is described as a white male, 25-30 years old, 5’5” to 5’9”, thin build, dark green or brown eyes, scruffy facial hair, and thick eye brows.

On Tuesday January 18, 2011, at approximately 6:24 a.m.., Portland Police officers responded to a residence located in the 8900 block of Southeast Woodstock Boulevard on the report of a violent assault. Officers arrived and learned that two suspects broke into the residence and that one of the suspects was beating a 15-year-old girl with a baseball bat. The girl’s father tried to stop the assault but suffered a broken left arm and a seriously injured left ear in the struggle. A third person suffered injuries as she struggled to get the bat away from the suspect. The 15-year-old girl suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the attack.
The suspects fled the apartment on foot, leaving the baseball bat behind.
The suspect that used the bat is described as a heavy set male Hispanic wearing dark clothing. The second suspect is described as a thinner, taller white male.

On Tuesday January 4, 2011, at approximatley 11:51 p.m., Portland Police officers responded to Southeast 126th and Division Street on the report of a pedestrian lying in the street after being struck by a passing car. Witnesses reported that the vehicle did not stop after hitting the pedestrian and continued westbound on Southeast Division.
Officers and medical personnel arrived and determined that the pedestrian, 38-year-old Rance Lee Lamb of Southeast Portland, was deceased.
Based on witness statements and evidence recovered at the scene, officers believe the suspect vehicle to be a black 1991-1999 Mercedes S-Class. Investigators believe that the vehicle may have damage to the right front headlight area and hood.

On December 28, 2011, at 12:10 a.m., a man armed with a handgun walked into the Plaid Pantry store located at 4030 Southeast 39th Avenue and demanded money from the clerk.
The suspect showed the clerk a handgun tucked into his waistband as he told the clerk to give him all the money. After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the store on foot. A neighborhood search with a police K-9 unit did not locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, 5’10”, 170 pounds, brown hair, wearing a blue and white flannel shirt, blue jeans, a dark bandana over the lower half of his face, a dark bicycle or skateboard helmet, armed with a silver handgun.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in locating a wanted felon. Crime Stoppers originally asked for the public’s help on this case in March 2010.
Paul Evans Winklebleck, 42 is wanted on felony warrants for kidnapping, criminal impersonation, assault, attempted rape and robbery. He is also wanted for child sex abuse and failing to register as a child sex offender.
On Thursday, March 4, 2010, at approximately 11:45 p.m., two women left the Roseland Theatre in downtown Portland when they were approached by Winklebleck who fabricated a story informing the them that he was working for the Portland Police Bureau as a spotter and was willing to assist them in getting home because they might be intoxicated.
Believing his story, the two women agreed to let Winklebleck drive them home in their car because he said he worked for the police and it was his job to get them home. Once in their car Winklebleck displayed a knife, drove south on I-5 and took the Detroit Lake exit, stopping on a gravel road off the freeway. Once stopped the women were able to escape Winklebleck and run to a near by home where a resident called 9-1-1. Winklebleck fled the area and remains at large.
Winklebleck is a white male, approximately 5'11" tall, and has a stocky build. He has reddish brown hair that is short and thick and also a thick goatee and mustache. He was last seen wearing a camouflage or hunting type of shirt or jacket and a matching hat. He also has a tattoo on his upper back “Combative for God” and may be driving a dark green GMC Sonoma pickup, Oregon license plate 289EPF.
The Vancouver Police Department, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in solving a robbery in Vancouver, Washington.
On September 20, 2010 at approximately 3:45 p.m., the suspect entered the Shell gas station located at 7204 Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard in Vancouver and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect reached across the counter and grabbed money out of the till as the clerk attempted to stop him.
With an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect then fled the scene eastbound on Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard on a dark-colored sport-type motorcycle. The suspect did put on a dark-colored helmet prior to his escape.
Suspect is described as a white male, mid-20’s, brown hair, 6’00”-6’03”, medium build, short hair, scruffy facial hair, wearing a dark jacket and blue jeans.

Just after midnight on Monday November 1, 2010, a man was assaulted near the pedestrian overpass located at Southeast 16th Avenue and Brooklyn Street. The victim was severely beaten and sustained serious head and abdominal injuries and was left unconscious on the train tracks just below the overpass.
After an interview with the victim, detectives believe that the assault was likely due to the suspect’s perception of the sexual orientation of the victim.
The suspect is described as a white male in his early to late 20s. He is approximately 6'1” in height with a muscular build. He had short blonde hair and a light beard. He also had a light complexion and his face was freckled. The suspect was riding a bicycle and was accompanied by another male also on a bicycle.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in solving a homicide that occurred on October 21, 2010 at Southwest 1st Avenue and Sheridan Street.
On Thursday October 21, 2010, at approximately 8:00 a.m., Portland Police officers responded to a bus shelter at Southwest 1st and Sheridan to assist medical personnel with a deceased male. Officers arrived and found 50-year-old Donald Ray Polk dead of apparent stab wounds. Homicide detectives were called to the scene to begin an investigation into how Polk died.
Detectives are asking for the public's help in this investigation. “Pokey”, as he was known to his friends, is believed to have been homeless at the time of his death and detectives do not know where he might have been regularly staying. Detectives would like to hear from anyone who saw Polk, knows where was staying or anyone with information about any disturbances in the area of Southwest 1st and Sheridan between Wednesday evening October 20 and Thursday morning October 21, 2010. Detectives have learned that Polk was last seen alive at approximately midnight at the 7-11 store at Southwest 1st and Arthur.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in solving a hit and run accident that occurred on September 20, 2010.
On Monday September 20, 2010, at approximately 4:22 p.m., Portland Police officers responded to a residence in the 2800 Block of Southeast 153rd Avenue on the report of a hit and run accident involving a female in a wheelchair. Officers contacted 62-year-old Melinda Barnett at her residence where they learned that Ms. Barnett was on her way home from a coffee shop at Southeast 162nd Avenue and Division Street when she was struck by a dark-colored older car pulling out of a driveway. The vehicle then left the area without contacting Ms. Barnett.
Ms. Barnett was in her electric wheelchair traveling westbound on the south side of Southeast Division Street in the bike lane. Ms. Barnett saw a vehicle pulling out of the driveway to the Tall Firs Mobile Home and RV Park at 15656 Southeast Division Street when she was struck. Ms. Barnett told police that the driver told her that he would follow her home but after she passed by, the driver turned westbound on Division and continued past Ms. Barnett.
Although Ms. Barnett was not knocked out of her wheelchair, she suffered serious injuries to both of her legs, including a broken right leg.
The suspect vehicle is described as a dark-colored older American-made sedan driven by a 45-year-old white mal with medium length dark hair and possibly wearing glasses.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in solving a violent assault that occurred on a MAX train in June 2010.
On Tuesday June 6, 2010 at approximately 5:17 p.m., a passenger on a MAX train bound for the Portland International Airport violently assaulted another passenger.
The victim was seated on the train looking out the window when the suspect began punching the victim in the head, knocking him to the floor where he continued to punch then kick the victim. The assault was so violent that the window behind the victim’s head was shattered. Witnesses described the assault as completely unprovoked. The victim was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with numerous bumps and cuts on his face but did not suffer any broken bones or long-term damage. The suspect fled the scene on foot at the Parkrose Transit Station at Northeast 99th and Sandy Boulevard.
The attack occurred between the Gateway Transit Station and the Parkrose Transit Station.
The suspect is described as a male black in his 20’s, five foot eight inches tall, 170 pounds, with short natural hair, a medium complexion, and a scruffy face. At the time of the assault the suspect was wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and light-colored tennis shoes.

On Tuesday May 25, 2010 at approximately 7:00 p.m., a suspect armed with a handgun demanded money from an employee at the Ace Check Cashing Express, located at 11902 Southeast Stark Street.
As the victim was closing the business for the night, the gunman approached from the street and forced the victim back inside the business demanding money. A second suspect entered the business and assisted with the robbery then forced the victim to lie on the floor as both suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect with the gun is described as a 30-year-old black male, medium build, wearing thick eye glasses.
The second suspect is described as a 25-year-old black male, 6’1 – 6’2” tall with a thin build.
On Friday July 23, 2010 at approximately 8:30 a.m., a suspect approached an employee as she was opening the Ace Cash Express store located at 16502 Southeast Division Street and forced her inside the business demanding money. The gunman hit the victim over the head with a handgun but fled the scene without getting any money.
The suspect was described as a black male in his late 20’s, 5’9”, 160 pounds, short hair and wearing glasses and may be associated to an unknown year red Nissan Pathfinder SUV.

At approximately 8:17 p.m. on Friday July 23, 2010, a suspect brandishing a black semi-automatic handgun walked into Space Age Fuel, located at Northeast 162nd and Glisan, and demanded money from the clerk.
The suspect began hitting the clerk multiple times with the handgun and then fled out the door and was last seen running northbound on 162nd Avenue. The handgun turned out to be a pellet gun.
The suspect is a black male, approximately 35 years old, 5 foot 9 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, last seen wearing a gray knit cap with an unknown red logo on the front, a white or gray short sleeve t-shirt, dark pants, and black and white shoes.

At approximately 3:00 p.m. on Sunday August 15, 2010, a suspect brandishing a knife walked into the Petco Store, located at 6655 Northeast Glisan Street. The suspect pointed the knife at the store clerk and demanded money.
Approximately ten minutes later, the same suspect entered the Days Inn Motel, located at 1530 Northeast 82nd Avenue. The suspect again brandished a knife and demanded money from the front desk clerk.
The suspect fled the area on foot.
The suspect is a white male in his 20's, tall with a thin to medium build. At the time of the robberies, he was wearing a San Francisco Giants jacket over a green hooded sweatshirt, plaid shorts and black canvas shoes.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in solving a series of suspected gang shootings in which three people have been shot.
The first shooting occurred on Tuesday August 17, at 11:21 p.m. at North Albina and Killingsworth. Multiple gunshots were heard and officers arrived to find a Tri Met bus kiosk damaged. No victims or witnesses were located by police.
The second shooting occurred on Wednesday August 18, at 12:00 a.m. in the 4500 Block of Northeast 119th Avenue. Officers arrived and located an occupied apartment that had been hit with several gunshots. Nobody was hurt in the shooting.
The third shooting occurred on Wednesday August 18, at 12:05 a.m. in the 4000 Block of Northeast 135th Avenue. Callers to 9-1-1 reported hearing multiple gunshots and officers arrived to find bullet holes into a residence. Nobody was injured as a result of the shooting.
The fourth shooting occurred on Wednesday August 18, at 12:31 a.m. at North Albina and Stafford Street. Officers arrived to find two gunshot victims. Both victims were transported to area hospitals. 25-year-old Demarcus Laray Carney of North Portland remains in critical condition. 34-year-old Karl Casey Colbert of North Portland remains in stable condition.
The fifth shooting occurred on Wednesday August 18, at 12:39 a.m. in the 1800 Block of Northeast Alberta Street. Officers did not locate any victims or property damage.
The sixth shooting occurred on Wednesday August 18, at 12:39 a.m. in the 2400 Block of Southeast 139th Avenue. Officers arrived to find an occupied residence with multiple bullet holes. Nobody inside the residence was injured in this shooting.
The seventh shooting occurred on Wednesday August 18, at 12:56 a.m. in the 12700 Block of Southeast Main Street. Officers arrived to find an occupied residence with multiple bullet holes. Nobody inside the residence was injured in this shooting.
The eighth shooting occurred on Wednesday August 18, at 3:00 p.m. in the 1600 block of Northeast Killingsworth. Officers arrived to find that a vacant building had been shot at causing property damage. No one was injured in this shooting.
The ninth shooting occurred on Friday August 20, at 1:00 a.m., in the 1500 block of North Skidmore Street. Officers responded to the area and found a crime scene near North Skidmore Street and North Maryland Avenue. After talking with witnesses, officers learned a victim and several other persons had already left the area by private car to an area hospital. 39-year-old Furnell Osbin of Southeast Portland suffered a serious but non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the face.
At this time, Portland Police Gang Detectives are investigating each of the shootings to determine if they are related. Detectives are asking for additional witnesses to come forward with any information they might have about this unusual rash of shootings.

On Tuesday, August 3, 2010, the victim missed his 4:00 p.m. work shift at a bowling alley in Wilsonville. Later that evening, a co-worker found the victim injured and on the floor of his Wilsonville residence. The victim was transported to a local hospital where doctors determined that he had been shot in the head.
Three days later, the victim was able to tell detectives that he had come home and found an unknown male subject inside the residence. The suspect demanded food and money, and then shot the victim in the head.
The suspect is described as an adult white male, 35 to 40 years old, approximately 5’10” tall.
Detectives believe that the suspect fled the scene in the victim’s Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, which was later recovered by police in the Molalla area. The victim’s identification was also recovered in Molalla in a recycling container.

The suspect is a white male, in his late 20s, approximately 5’7” tall, with a thin to medium build. He is described as having black short hair, clean shaven and was last seen wearing a dark blue baseball cap and a blue sweatshirt with a hood.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in locating a suspect wanted for sexual assault charges.
On Thursday, May 13, 2010, a warrant was issued for Ismael Recinos-Velasquez (DOB: 8-4-79) also known as Jose Perez-Perez (driver’s license DOB: 4-12-74), on charges stemming from the sexual abuse of two young girls. Sheriff’s Detectives first learned of Ismael Recinos-Velasquez in November when his girlfriend reported to deputies that he was sexually abusing her 14-year-old daughter. Detectives also received information that he was sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl.
Ismael Recinos-Velasquez is described as a Hispanic man. He has used different names in the past, one of which was Jose Perez-Perez, and currently may be going by Carlos. He is 5’3” tall and weighs about 140 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He is wanted on the following charges: Rape I; Sodomy I; Sex Abuse I (3 counts); Sex Abuse II (3 counts); Sex Abuse III (2 counts); Assault IV; Coercion (2 counts); and Interference with Making a Report.

On Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at approximately 11:42 a.m., the Albina Bank, located at 2002 Northeast Martin Luther King Boulevard, was robbed by a lone male. The suspect entered the bank, approached the teller and presented a note demanding money before fleeing the scene.
The suspect is a white male, 40-50 years old, 5’8” tall, 165 pounds, with short facial hair. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded jacket, blue jeans, dark shoes, a black and gray stocking cap and sun glasses.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in identifying a robbery suspect caught on surveillance video.
On Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at approximately 2:28 p.m., the Bank of America, located at 7410 North Chicago, was robbed by a lone male. The suspect entered the bank, approached the teller and demanded money before fleeing the scene in a vehicle that belonged to a customer in the bank.
A short time later the suspect crashed the vehicle in a restaurant parking lot at North Columbia and North Martin Luther King Boulevard. Police recovered the stolen vehicle but the suspect absconded and remains at large.
The suspect is a light skinned black male, in his 20’s, 5’7” tall, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing black nylons over his head, a black peacoat, a v-neck sweater with large horizontal stripes, a button up shirt, dark pants and white shoes.

On Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at approximately 3:10 p.m., the Key Bank, located at 444 Southwest 5th Avenue, was robbed by a lone male. The suspect entered the bank, approached the teller and demanded money before fleeing the scene on foot.
The suspect is a white male, 30-35 years old, 5’3”-5’5” tall, with a medium build. He was clean shaven and was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt.
Wanted Felon Paul Winklebleck

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in locating a wanted felon.
Paul Evans Winklebleck, 42 is wanted on felony warrants for kidnapping, criminal impersonation, assault, attempted rape and robbery. He is also wanted for child sex abuse and failing to register as a child sex offender.
On Thursday, March 4, 2010, at approximately 11:45 p.m., two women left the Roseland Theatre in downtown Portland when they were approached by Winklebleck who fabricated a story informing the them that he was working for the Portland Police Bureau as a spotter and was willing to assist them in getting home because they might be intoxicated.
Believing his story, the two women agreed to let Winklebleck drive them home in their car because he said he worked for the police and it was his job to get them home. Once in their car Winklebleck displayed a knife, drove south on I-5 and took the Detroit Lake exit, stopping on a gravel road off the freeway. Once stopped the women were able to escape Winklebleck and run to a near by home where a resident called 9-1-1. Winklebleck fled the area and remains at large.
Winklebleck is a white male, approximately 5'11" tall, and has a stocky build. He has reddish brown hair that is short and thick and also a thick goatee and mustache. He was last seen wearing a camouflage or hunting type of shirt or jacket and a matching hat. He also has a tattoo on his upper back “Combative for God” and may be driving a dark green GMC Sonoma pickup, Oregon license plate 289EPF.

On Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at approximately 12:14 p.m., the Bank of America, located at 121 Southwest Morrison Street, was robbed by a lone male. The suspect entered the bank, approached the teller and presented a demand note before fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is an older white male, between 50 and 60 years old and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark coat and hat.

On November 4, 2009, at approximately 2:26 a.m., Kipp Crawford, 32, was run over by two cars on North Willamette Boulevard at North Hodge. Prior to being run over, Crawford was seen riding his bike eastbound on Willamette Boulevard, when for unknown reasons his bike crashed and he landed in the westbound lane of Willamette.
Witnesses at the scene both saw and heard an angry altercation between Crawford and the unknown suspect in which the suspect was standing over Crawford as he lay in the middle of the street. Detectives have reason to believe that Crawford was the victim of an assault and robbery and as a result ended up in the street with the suspect standing over him.
Based on witness descriptions the suspect is described as a white male in his 20’s. Detectives would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this altercation or who may have any information regarding this case.

On Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at approximately 3:00 p.m., Portland Police uniform officers were called to the 4100 block of Southwest Hamilton. Upon arrival, the officers found Nancy Bergeson deceased in her home. The officers notified the Medical Examiner's Office and one of their representatives responded to the scene.
The medical examiner at the scene initially determined that Ms. Bergeson died as a result of natural causes. Ms. Bergeson was removed from her home and was transported to the Medical Examiner's Office. While performing the autopsy on Ms. Bergeson, the medical examiner determined that Ms. Bergeson actually died as a result of homicidal violence.

The Vancover Police Department, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in locating a wanted man.
On December 14, 2009, Miguel Torres-Izazaga, 19, was involved in a home invasion robbery in the 4200 Block of East 18th Street. Torres-Izazaga is suspected of assaulting a resident of the home during the course of the invasion and robbery. The victim in this case suffered serious injuries as a result of the incident.
Torres-Izazaga is wanted on a felony warrant for Attempted Murder II and Robbery. He is affiliated with a local street gang and has a violent past. Torres-Izazaga may also be using the name "Angel" Izazaga or "Stomper".

Borisshell Washington, 18, was murdered on the evening of Sunday, May 31, 2009. She was shot and killed at a gathering at Raymond Park in Southeast Portland. Detectives believe a number of people at the gathering may have witnessed the actual shooting but have yet to come forward with the information.

On Sunday, July 12, 2009, a family member returned home after being away for the weekend and found 46-year-old Todd Ternes deceased inside the residence. He had been bludgeoned and his throat had been cut.

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in identifying the suspect vehicle and driver involved in a hit and run crash that resulted in the death of Portland man.
On Thursday, August 27, 2009, at approximately 2:15 a.m., James Neal Wagner, 52, was struck and killed by an unidentified vehicle while riding his bicycle. Mr. Wagner was struck from behind in the bike lane near the northbound lanes of 122nd Avenue, just north of the I-84 overpass. The driver of the suspect vehicle did not stop after the collision and witnesses report that the vehicle turned to the west somewhere north of Fremont Street.
Based on witness statements and evidence found at the scene, investigators are looking for a four-door 1988 to 1992 Toyota Corolla (similar to the one pictured) , with the glass broken out of the headlight on the passenger side of the vehicle.

On Saturday, August 22, 2009, at about 3 a.m., Portland Police Officers responded to numerous calls of shots fired in the area of SE Flavel St. and SE 60th Ave. When officers arrived, they found one unoccupied parked vehicle with bullet holes in it.
Officers then began checking for victims, and found Joseph "Joey" Lawrence Erzen, 52, suffering from a gunshot wound at his residence at 5706 SE Flavel St. Police Detectives said Erzen was in his bedroom at the time he was shot, and that the bullet entered his bedroom from outside the home. Erzen later died at the scene.

Jose Francisco-Francisco, sexually assaulted a young girl at a farming labor camp in Cornelius. During the sexual assault, Francisco-Francisco threatened to kill the victim if she told anyone. While in jail on another charge, Francisco-Francisco made several telephone calls in which he admitted to sexually assaulting the young girl. He has since absconded and the Washington County Sheriff's Office has valid warrants for his arrest on the charges of Rape I, Sex Abuse I and Rape II.
Francisco-Francisco is a Hispanic male, 5'4" tall and 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He is from Guatemala and speaks a dialect known as Akateko. He also speaks Spanish and is known to frequent farming labor camps.

On Saturday, August 8, 2009, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Portland Police officers responded to a welfare check at 614 SW Nevada Street, Unit A. Upon arrival, responding officers discovered the deceased victim, Gregory Toeniskoetter, 42, inside the condominium. The Multnomah County Medical Examiner later determined Toeniskoetter died of blunt force trauma.

Philip Leland Riley, 67, molested a boy at a local health club and is facing a lengthy sentence for this crime. He has absconded and is now wanted on a felony warrant for Sodomy in the First Degree and Sex Abuse in the First Degree with a $5,000,000 bail.
Riley is a white male, 5'11" tall and 125 pounds. He has blue eyes and gray hair. Riley fled with a substantial amount of cash and his passport, leaving his cell phone, credit cards and vehicles behind. According to Riley's family, he is most likely headed for a warmer climate.

Amatha Mendive-Boyle was murdered in the early morning hours of November 14, 2008. Her body was found in an alley behind a strip mall located at Southeast 162nd and Southeast Stark Street. Amatha was 37-years-old at the time of her murder and is survived by her husband and their 2-year-old son.

On March 27, 2009, at approximately 9:27 p.m., Charles Bruce Mills, 38, was hit and killed by an unidentified vehicle while walking on Highway 224 near Highway 211. OSP troopers and medics found him deceased in the Hwy near milepost 24. The unidentified suspect vehicle was last seen heading westbound on Highway 224.
OSP is looking for a white, 1992-1994 Ford Taurus or Mercury Sable, with right front and right side damage. Evidence indicates the suspect vehicle has a broken right front corner turn signal lens cover and the right side view mirror glass is broken from the casing. Investigators believe the mirror casing is intact.

On Friday, March 20, 2009 at 10:43 a.m., Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Patrol deputies responded to a reported shooting at the Willow Creek Apartments, located at 3644 SE Westview in the Oak Grove neighborhood of unincorporated Clackamas County, just south of Milwaukie.
Upon arrival, responding deputies discovered the deceased victim, Joseph Patrick Haley, 28, inside an apartment. Investigators say two male suspects came to the front door of the apartment, knocked on the door and barged their way into the residence. Only seconds elapsed before one of the armed intruders killed the victim inside the residence. The two suspects reportedly fled the scene immediately and responding deputies were unable to make contact with them.
The two suspects are black males, 6' to 6'2", with large builds, wearing white puffy jackets with hoods.

September 1, 2008, Lane County Sheriff's deputies responded to a house regarding an armed suicidal man. Nathan Dix, 31, exited and fired a shotgun at deputies who returned fire. Dix was arrested and went to jail but got bailed out and failed to appear in court.
He and his girlfriend Annie Jo Welch, 31, have not been seen since December 24, 2008. Oregon State Police responded to a call of a suspicious car at the Cape Perpetua Lookout south of Yachats, Oregon, December 30, 2008. The car was a 1991 Subaru Legacy registered to Welch.
DIX is a white male, 5'07", 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on his chest, back and arms. His right arm may have limited use because of injuries sustained in the September shooting. Dix may be armed and and should not be approached.
Welch is a white female, 5'08", 120 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes and a tattoo on her right breast displaying clouds and a half moon.
